  Marmore waterfall

The Marmore waterfall (cascata delle Marmore) is near the city of Terni (100 km north of Rome). With its 165 meters, is one of the highest waterfalls in Europe. In the river just below it's possible to practice rafting.

The price of 2,57 euro includes parking, the access to footpaths and the little bus from the lower to the upper Belvedere.

The opening time is quite complicated, because the fall is used in a hydroelectric plant. During the weekends anyway it stays open for a longer time.

Directions: Few kms from Terni.
