"the Ahhhh factor!" Greyfriars Bobby Tip by Emmjai

Greyfriars Bobby, Edinburgh: 30 reviews and 72 photos

by Emmjai

Most people from the UK know of the story of Greyfriars Bobby. A dog who, when is poor owner died, spend many years in constant vigil at his tombside, until the dog too joined his master.

The statue, outside the entrance to the chuchyard, was actually a drinking fountain, with a special bit at ground level for our four legged friends. However, for reasons I don't recall, water is no longer available for either two or four legged visitors.
