I did a mistake. I drove to Nogales instead of staying for a night in Tucson. Tucson offers much more variety of accommodation than Nogales. I was looking for economic accommodation driving I-10 to Nogales and finally I found it in the middle of a night... in Nogales.
So, better stay in Tucson. There are a few accommodation located at North Stone Avenue close one to each other, 1 mile north of Tucson downtown, close to University:
- University Inn
- Best Western Inn
- Kings Lodge
- Econo Lodge
- Super 8 Motel
- Flamingo Hotel.

I would choose either Best Western Inn (good quality and comfort, I am sure; whenever I chose Best Western during my USA trip I was very satisfied.
) or Econo Lodge (inexpensive).
