"Darling Harbour" Darling Harbour Tip by Mez77

Darling Harbour, Sydney: 122 reviews and 241 photos

Darling Harbour is one of those places that you tend to find tourists in flocks. For this reason I tend to stay away from this area when I travel to Sydney.

It is a former dockside area that has been transformed into a major tourist site and leading convention and exhibition centre. A monorail service runs from the Central Business District to Darling Harbour.

There are plenty of tourist attractions, such as:

The Chinese Garden of Friendship
Cockle Bay Wharf
IMAX Theatre
Sydney Aquarium
National Maritime Museum
Harbourside Shopping Centre
Plenty of restaurants
