As horrific as the name sounds, this is actually quite a beautiful stopover on your way south to Waterton Lakes.

The native indians used to chase buffalo over these cliffs and that's how they caught their dinner. There is an excellent interpretive centre that will give a more in depth explanation than mine and describe the mythology and lifestyle of the Blackfoot Indians that had been using this site for more than 5500 years. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Directions: This World Heritage Site is located 165 kms south of Calgary near Fort MacLeod.
