Langtang Himal as seen from Dhulikhel

The Nuwari town of Dhulikhel is located about an hour and a half west of Kathmandu. Dhulikhel is a very traditional Nuwari town and is an excellent place to become oriented with Nepal: its people, its culture, and its land. Dhulikhel also provides some magnificent views of the Himalaya (in specific Langtang Himal). Dhulikhel is a friendly town, with more sincere people than in Kathmandu. There are also some very interesting temples in Dhulikhel, and some of which allow non-Hindus to enter! Making friends with some of the local kids is easy. They love to practice their English and they are very sincere (where as in Kathmandu the kids want money, etc...) I still write some of the kids that I met in Dhulikhel.
