Due to Nepal's mountainous environment, landslides are very common during the monsoon season (June-August). Nepali landslides can be devastating. Entire villages can be wiped out, major roads can be destroyed, bridges taken out, paths covered in thick deep mud. Watch out for landslides, and do not attempt to walk then, they can come loose at any time, and there can be another one in a sensitive area at any time.
