  Inside of Bamboo Cabin.
by Vintom

This picture shows the inside of a Bamboo cabin at the Palm Grove Lake Resort, just outside (2Km) of the Main town of Alleppey, on the backwaters of Kerela.

Such a peaceful place to rest up after traveling and a great location to just sit and watch the world go by surrounded by coconut trees and boats sailing along the waterway.
There is no restaraunt or bar, there is nothing other than good clean accomodation and fantastic setting.

Unique Qualities: The Cabins are all clean and have netting over the beds, which themselves were comfortable and had crisp, clean white sheets. No glass windows, just bamboo shutters that swing out to allow light and air into the cabin.
Each cabin has a small veranda where you can sit in peace and quite. Well worth the effort of taking a taxi out of town for.
