Subway is the best way to move around New York City. They offer also special cards like the Metro Card. One Metro Card called the fun pass, gives you for $7 USD to ride the subway and the metro buses all day unlimited. Each single ride is on the train is $2 USD. It works our better to get the fun pass if you tend to travel around New York. If you plan to stay a week, the weekly pass is your best bet at $24 dollars.

There are booths & Metro card stations in all train stations, Union Station, Penn Station, Grand Central Station & in some check cashing places.

The picture here is an example of what a New York Subway Station looks like on the street. Note the symbols & color for different trains.
