Short Pump Town Centre, Richmond: 3 reviews and 2 photos
The Short Pump Town Centre is one of the Richmond area's newest major shopping mall. Different from others like Regency Square, Chesterfield Town Centre, and Virginia Centre Commons- all enclosed malls, this one is very much an open-air shopping centre. That is okay during the spring and autumn when the temperatures are more moderate, but how will shoppers feel in the depths of winter and in the dog days of summer? For example, it rained rather hard its opening day. There are dozens of more upmarket shops at this new mall. I was not impressed by that. I was even less impressed by the snooty nature of even the clerks. I sensed it and my mama got a heaping helping of it at the computer store. This mall might impress some with a taste for the "finer" things, but it will be a month of Sundays before I ever turn up here again and, I daresay, my kinfolks as well.
What to buy: Complete store listing
What to pay: It leans more to the upmarket, but some bargains may be found if you look hard enough.
