Commander's Palace: "A Great Dining Experience" New Orleans Restaurant Tip by anderschwan

Sure, it's a little touristy. But that's ok - because the food and service is top notch - as well as the atmosphere. Make sure to dress yourself up a bit - no shorts and t shirt here. But you don't have to be all fancy schmantzy either. Try to get a spot upstairs in the garden room - it's great!
Favorite Dish: The Bread Pudding is a must. Also, if you're not a vegetarian - try the Turtle Soup. Mimosas are the thing to drink along with a meal.
