"Old Town Hall - Renaissance Window" Old-Town Hall Tip by yooperprof
Old-Town Hall, Prague: 153 reviews and 273 photos
One of Prague's famous defenestrations occured at Old Town Hall in 1483; Hussite agitators were upset at the conniving of the city's conservative (and Catholic) mayor, and threw him and several of his associates out the window. It may or may not have been this window, which was dedicated in its current form in 1520. The Latin motto in gold beneath the town emblem says "Prague, Head of the Kingdom."
Address: Starometska radnice, Starometske namesti.
