This western style mansion was built in 1903 by King Rama V for the future King Rama VI. It has been the royal residence for several kings but right now it serves as the Royal Guest House for visiting Heads of State and guests of the Royal Family.
The gates were closed and we couldn't really get a closer look but they allowed people to stick their cameras through the iron grilles for a photo.
Address: Maharaj Pier, Chao Phraya, Bangkok
Directions: The combined compound is open 8.30am to 3.30pm everyday. Cost is 200B (if you are Thai, it's free.)
