Favorite thing: Mozart loved Prague - much more than Vienna, incidentally - and it was largely because of this theatre, which is where "Don Giovanni" received its premier in 1787. "The Marriage of Figaro" had been played here the previous year, to enormous acclaim - after having failed to impress the "difficile" Viennese. Still a functioning theatre - and a beautiful one at that! "To the Homeland and the Muses" - Patriae et Musis - reads the inscription across the entablature.
Fondest memory: Ovocny Trh - near the Carolinum;
