Not really a trap unless you lead yourself into it. We wanted to see what the natives are really like, so we wandered over to the public beach adjacent to our hotel. We met Courtney, a really nice guy, who wanted Frank's cigarettes. Frank traded cigarettes for a nice marble ashtray that Courtney said he carved. It was quite pretty. There were other vendors with wooden carvings and seashells. We did well not to let them talk us out of all of our money, but it was neat to see what some of them do for a living. Each morning there were lots of children playing (or maybe bathing) in the water before going off to school. One day, I even saw a horse in the water.

Unique Suggestions: Check out what they have, at least it doesn't say "made in china". It does seem authentic.
