"Matthias?s Church (Mátyás templom)" Mathias Church - Mátyás Templom Tip by Gillianina

  Matthias Church
by Gillianina

Although some parts of the church date back to the XVI century, the church is essentially neogothic, built at the end of the XIX century by architect Frigyes Schulek. The interior is remarkable for the wall decorations, an unusual combination of folkloristic art, Art Nouveau (modern Style) and oriental motifs.
