Mustafa's: "Mustafa bargain" Singapore Shopping Tip by sourbugger

The name reminds me of my favourite name for a fast-food establishment : Mustafa Kebab
Anyway, Mustafa's to the North of Little India on Seragoon road is must for those wishing to avoid bargaining.
The shop promises that it has over 90,000 products ready for you to buy. It literally has everything - stacked up as far as the eye can see.
It still however retains some antiquated practices in the way it is organised. For example an organisational management chart of the shirt department seemed to owe more than a little to Grace Brothers (Are you free Mr Humpries ?)
It may be a little Claustraphobic - but the prices are cheaper than in Orchard Road, although probably on a par with dept. stores in the suburbs.
It also may pose a good existential question for the traveller - if the place is open 24hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there any locks on the doors ?
What to buy: You name it - you can get it.
What to pay: A bit less than Orchard road shops, and all fixed price - thus avoiding the hassles of places like little India (see warnings and dangers)
Address: Seragoon Road / Syed Alwi road
Directions: North of Little India.
Use Farrer Park MRT
Theme: Department Store
