"Söderåsen National Park" Top 5 Page for this destination Sweden Things to Do Tip by Sjalen
Sweden Things to Do: 422 reviews and 839 photos
Söderåsen is a ridge in the southernmost province - Skåne. It may not seem interesting for those of you from Brussels or similar areas with huge beech forests, but let me then tell you that this place is geologically fascinating since it is where the Scandinavian plate meets the European! You can see this at the 90 metre high Kopparhatten with a marvellous view into Småland and with an interesting canyon below it. There are also possibilities to go horse riding, cycling and have good food at one of the many inns. See my Klippan page for more pictures.
Directions: Try the main park entrance at Skäralid between Ljungbyhed and Röstånga.
