"A beautiful Church" Karlskirche - St Charles Church Tip by Emmjai

Karlskirche - St Charles Church, Vienna: 101 reviews and 193 photos

This church , built by the Emperor Charles and dedicated to St Charles, was built just outside the ringstrasse, in thanks giving for delivery from the plague.

This is a great church, and not too big either. The added bonus at the moment is that they are restoring the frescos in the dome, and you can travel up in the lift to look at them more closely, an opportunity not to miss.
