The Seine, La Conciergerie & Notre Dame
by shrimp56

Ile de la Cite is one of the two islands in the heart of Paris. [The other, Ile St. Louis is primarily residential and great fun to wander also!]
On Cite you will find Ste. Chapelle and its glorious windows, La Conciergerie [ Ste. Chapelle is inside this complex] -- the building where justice is served, Notre Dame, of course and don't forget the Deportation Memorial..
The picture-collage is appropriate I think as justice during the French Revolution certainly involved losing your head :)

Address: Île de la Cité, 75001 Paris
Directions: Between Pont Neuf & Pont de l'Archevêché. In La Seine.
