You know the drill at Italian Churches: wait in line for hours, then face inspection to make sure your dress is decent, then hurried through the church without a chance to take a picture. Well, I found a way to skip the ENTIRE line at St. Mark's Church! Just bring with yourself a large backpack, and go to the place where you check the bags you cant bring in. It is down an alley to the left of the Church. After checking the bag, you are issued a pass that lets you go to the FRONT of the line at the Church! Voila! No waiting in line.

Directions: Take the vaporetto down the grand canal
