At the Pharaoh's Island, 250 M off the coast, is a fortress, the Castle of Salah ad-Din.
The fortress was built in 1125 by the Crusaders. Fifty five years later the fortress is captured by Salah ad-Din and used against the Crusaders.
You can visit the island from 9am till 5 pm.
