"Going to the Frick Museum was..." Frick Collection Tip by pptanner

Frick Collection, New York City: 20 reviews and 21 photos

Going to the Frick Museum was a highlight of my last trip to New York. It is just off Central Park and is a fabulous collection of art work--some of them very well-known pieces--housed in the former residence of the collector.
I found it fascinating to see all this wonderful art displayed in the rooms and salons of the residence, just as the owner enjoyed it during his lifetime. Additionally, the size of the collection is just right for a leisurely couple of hours, and the location is unbeatable.

Address: 1 E 70th St., New York, NY 10021
Directions: It is just off Central Park on the Upper East Side. I will find the exact address and post it later.
