"London Underground" Transportation Tip by cwest03

I know that this is more of a transportation tip but the London Underground is not only a very handy way to get around London but for me was kind of an attraction. This was my first experience with real public transportation. I come from California where everyone has cars and no one rides public transportation. It was amazing to me how handy and easy it was to get all over London on the Underground.

I bought a day pass and found myself taking a ride just for fun. Nothing beats disapearing underground, hopping on a train and finding yourself clear across town in a matter of minutes (well maybe 20 or 30 minutes but still....)

Whenever I visit a city I alway try to ride their subway system and I alway have fond memories of the London Underground.

Directions: All over. Grab a map and a ticket and you're set. It seems like there is a station ever few blocks in downtown London.
