Look at the Main Gate to Yuma Territorial Prison on my picture. This entrance (also called the sallyport) is the only original adobe structure remaining at the prison and it was shown in many western movies you might remember, where the bad guys ended up going in or coming out the main gate.

Adobe is a mixture of earth and straw (= dried grass) made into bricks and dried in the sun, used to build houses (called adobe houses).

Directions: Take I-8 to Yuma, take Exit 1 to Giss Parkway, turn at Prison Hill Road.
