"Visit the Halifax Citadel, a..." Halifax Citadel National Historic Site Tip by louwaters

Visit the Halifax Citadel, a National Historic site and an interesting old British fortress.
Every day at 12 o'clock the Highlands guarding the fort fire off the noon day cannon.

Directions: Just head up George Street or Sackville Street to the only hill in the centre of Halifax and you will see the famous town clock landmark which marks the site of the Citadel.
