This smaller out-of-the-way museum is a double pleasure.
First for the magnificent 19th century "hotel particulier" it is -- full of beautiful decoration and furnishings. AND it is a real art museum -- based on the original collection of Edouard André and his wife Nélie Jacquemart, but sponsoring excellent exhibitions that connect with the themes of their collection.
It is a good option when the state-run museums decide to strike!
