Favorite thing: As stated in the introduction to this page, sharp eyes are often needed to see the wildlife in Denali. Furthermore it is essential to get past the forested slopes of the park's first ten miles, which means taking a camper or tour bus far into the park's interior (an idea supported by zrim and worldtrekker). worldtrekker's Denali close-ups benefitted largely from nine visits to this park. zrim's distant shots are typical of short stays, though sometimes short-timers will get lucky and long-timers (like richiedisc) have to wait weeks for their prized sightings.
