  The "maison de Plougrescant"
by Sinjoor

This house, situated on the edge of the sea among a collection of impressive boulders, is probably one of the most visited tourist sights in the area. When coming up to the house one walks along the shoreline of a magnificent bay, with the house across the water in the back. It is also possible to pass the house and move further up the coast line towards the "Gouffre de Castel Meur". This is a rocky outcrop from which the view is simply stunning. One can walk around it or clamber over it and even climb down (whilest watching carefully where you put your feet) towards the sea at low tide. Then you'll find yourself among the cliffs, staring into the crystal clear water. A truly impressive experience.

Address: On the seashore northwest of Plougrescant
Directions: From Tréguier, take the road leading north towards Plougrescant. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the post office but one can also drive right up to the site. (On the parking lot there is a wine tasting van on wednesdays and saturdays.)
