When going to the city park or one of its other attractions (baths, zoo, castle or why not Gundel ;-), you can't miss this huge square with two impressive museums at each sides (the museum of Fine Arts and the palace of Art) and this huge memorial at the back...
It has been built in 1896 to celebrate the millenium of the Magyar conquest of the area... Most of the statues represents the persons who have been part of the Hungarian History.
Quite an impressive place, this is at least one good reason to go to this area...
Even more, from the center, take the subway (the line 1). It has been the first underground of the continent...
