"Temples of all denomination" Cultural Architecture & Bldgs Tip by Hexepatty

Typically when you think of Temples maybe you think of Asia or Jewish Temples... well in Honolulu we have BOTH! Jewish Temples as well as Hindu and Buddhist and the like kine temples. Don't forget to visit China Town on Oahu. You will see many temples where folks can stop and pray outside to their favorite diety. My favorite has ALWAYS been Quan Lin, Mother of Mercy. PHOTO: This statue is seen in the outdoor courtyard of the Chinese Cultural Center in Honolulu, located in China Town at River and Beretania. You can buy some joss sticks in the convenience stores right there and say your prayers and be on your merry Way!!!
