The Boston subway system is a very convenient way of getting around the city. The Blue Line serves the Logan International Airport. The Red Line has a stop at Boston's South Station and also serves Cambridge. The Green Line splits into 4 routes west of downtown.

As a visitor, you can park your car at the Riverside station (terminal station for the Green Line - D) and ride into town. Or you can park your car at the Alewife station (terminal station for the Red Line). These are convenient locations that you can park and don't have to fight the city traffic.

It is a good idea to get a visitor pass which costs $6 for one day. You can have unlimited rides on the "T" including the subway, bus, and ferry.
