Fondest memory: the cemetary of course. Here Lies JOHN HARRIS, JR. 1726-1791 Founder of Harrisburg and son of the man who made the original settlement

REV. JOHN ELDER 1706-1792 Famous 'fighting parson' and organizer of the Paxton Boys. Born and educated in Scotland, was a pastor of Paxton Church from 1738-1791. A staunch supporter of the Revolution, and recruited for the army.
