"Rio Pacuare River Rafting" White Water Rafting Tip by khurram7404

White Water Rafting, Costa Rica: 20 reviews and 26 photos

There are many rivers that you can go rafting on in Costa Rica but the best that I've heard about and experiences is the Rio Pacuare. This is a class 4 river but still accessible to the beginner. This was my first time rafting and I decided to go for it and am glad I did. As long as you listen to your rafting guides instructions you'll be just fine! Some of the views from the river are really great and at one point on the trip we all jumped off the boat and floated down the river through a canyon, admiring the heavens and the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The drive from San Jose to the start point is also beautiful. The rafting trip is 18 kilometers long and you are on the river for a good 3 hours.

Address: Rio Pacuare
