Luggage and bags: Small suitcases are easier to fit in the small Taxies.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you are visiting Egypt by summer make sure you got plenty of T-shirts beacuse they will get dirty everytime you go out!

If you are a female make sure to bring decent clothes if you don`t want to be harrased.
Cottons are the best bring light cotton shirts and long pants to wear."No" to wearing shorts,and tank tops or skirts above the knee.

If you are going to a night club by a car then wear a scarf over your shoulder,until you reach the night spot.

Wearing open toed sandals are ok.*

If you are visiting it by winter ,don`t expect it to be very cold,so one jacket and one over coat are more than enough.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Most medicines are available in Egypt,but if you are on some kind of medication you should bring your own,just to be on the safe side.Plus imported medicines are very expensive due to TAX.

Photo Equipment: It would be very cheap if you want to develope your film in Egypt,I always develope my films before leaving,many photo shops develope your film in less than an hour.they also can deliver your pictures to where you are staying(just tip the man who delivers it).
I also had my digi pictures saved on a CD,Doesn;t cost much
(I can`t remember how much exactly ).

Miscellaneous: If you`re a smoker,,bring your own packs of ciggies,unless you really want to try a diffrent taste of Marlboro in Egypt(and it`s cheaper)it`s about 1$ per 20 ciggies pack.
