  Kafolo, central pump
by sachara

In the middle of the village Kafolo is a waterpump. We got permission again -like 2 days ago- to put our tents here for the night.
We liked it to stay in the middle of the village and see there the daily life. Most villagers had to get their water from this pump.

We stayed here for two nights before our truck was digged out with help of a tractor from a village 40 KM from Kafolo.
In the second night at one o' clock we were waked up by the familiar sound of our truck and the singing of the villagers - from the village of te the tractor- sitting in the back.
