There are many islands around Scotland, particularly off the west coast, but so far I have only made it over to Mull. There are regular ferries from Oban over to Mull [as well as other islands in the Inner Hebrides] and its well worth a visit.

The scenery is lovely and the main town of Tobermory is certainly a relaxing and picturesque place to pass an afternoon and no doubt a good base for exploring the island. I'm just hoping I make it back there sometime as I'm sure there was lots more to see there.

More info on my Isle of Mull page

Directions: Ferries to Craignure on the Isle of Mull regularly depart from the West coast town of Oban
