  Sibelius Monument
by Pomska

The abstract monument (called Passio Musicae) was built for Finland's most famous composer Jean Sibelius. It has been made by Eila Hiltunen.

The monument is quite exceptional because it enables the spectators to go inside the monument and the echos and sounds created in its pipes are special.

The monument was unveiled in 1967. It is made of acid-proof steel pipes.
