"Travelling by car from..." Denmark Transportation Tip by Grete

Denmark Transportation: 70 reviews and 53 photos

Travelling by car from Scandinavia the easiest ( and only ) way to Denmark is by ferry. There are numerous different boats from Norway, Sweden, Germany, The Baltic States and Great Britain ( Have I forgotten any ?)
We travelled around by car which allowed us to travel over most of the country over a fortnight ( It really isn't big you know ). They have a well buildt roadsystem - you can choose between the freeway travelling fast from A to B or you can choose the smaller roads marked with a small brown sign with a white Margeritte flower on it. The signs symbolize romantic and scenic routes for those who aren't in a hurry. Alot of people of course also recommend Denmark for bicycling, though I havn't tried that myself.
