"U Bezousku in Pruhonice" Prague Off The Beaten Path Tip by richiecdisc

The small town of Pruhonice is most renowned for its botanical gardens, but the beer enthusiast makes the trek there to visit the brewpub, U Bezousku. One only has to take Metro C to Opatov station, and then hop on bus 324 or 325 to Pruhonice. The bus stop in right in front of the brewpub, how convenient can you get? The lunch I had was a bit pricey at 115 kc (still less than four dollars) but the quality was good and tasty. The house made beers were the real reason to go and they were all great. They had 10 and 12 degree pale lagers, with the stronger beer having a fruitier palate. Also, on hand was Bernard's 12 degree dark beer and another house specialty called Bizon, a 16 degree strong beer of exceptional dryness for the strength. It's well worth the trek here and you can hit the botanical garderns if you get there early enough. ;) The brewpub has reasonably priced rooms too.
