Dinosaur Barbeque: "Don't miss the Dinosaur" Top 5 Page for this destination Syracuse Restaurant Tip by kooka3

Syracuse Restaurants: 30 reviews and 21 photos

This restaurant has such an interesting atmosphere. It attracts an eclectic crowd from business men in suits to bikers in leather and everyone in between. The restaurant is divided into 2 rooms - one with the bar, a riser for live bands, tables, booths, etc. The other is more of "the bbq pit".

The Dinosaur is amazingly popular (the wait can sometimes be an hour or more on weekends), and rightfully so. The food is consistently superior and you meet such fun people there.

Favorite Dish: I've never had a bad meal there. Anything involving barbeque (ribs, particularly) is great. Go figure.

Their side dishes are also great - and made fresh. Try the cajun corn and mashed potatoes.

If you the type of person who can't decide what to eat, they have a bunch of samplers, so you can get 2 or 3 different dishes.
