The Schilthorn is definitely a must-do in Grindelwald! It offers an unmatched alpine panorama from just under 10,000 feet high. To get to the top you take a series of 4 superbe gondola rides, many times hundreds of feet above the ground. It is a THRILL! First from Stechelberg - Gimmelwald, Gimmelwald - Murren, Murren - Birg, Birg - Summit! At the summit is the worlds first revolving mountain-top restaurant, which is also the highest altitude restaurant in continental Europe! And the location of the James Bond film, In Her Majesty's Secret Service! The Schilthorn brings you to 9,744 feet (2970m) on incredible aerial cable-cars, and gives you an impressive view of the famous Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.
