On your hike you will spot lots of these mini toads. They will jump off the hiking trail as soon as they sense that you are walking there. It's funny to see though all those little toads. They are not only on this hiking trail, but I spotted them on many of the others as well. They do like a bit of a moist climate, preferable somewhere in the woods.

Directions: Booth's Rock Trail is at a sideroad of highway 60, 40.3 km from the west gate of Algonquin Park. Follow the sideroad for 8 kilometers and you will get at the start of the trail.
