Despite the extra hike I was still on time, finally I could see the sunset at Pog Lake! It wasn't the best sunset I have ever seen, but it still was a beautiful one. It was wonderful to sit on the little sandy beach, have a drink to sip on and just quietness around me. In the distance I could hear the call of the moose.... Gawunk, Gawunk.... Gawunk, Gawunk.... I knew it was out there somewhere on the edge of the lake, but I wasn't able to spot it. As I was camping here so early in the season there were hardly any people around. Maybe there were four or five others that were on this beach. But they were all in awe by the sunset like me, enjoying it in peace and quiet.
