  Dragonfly in Algonquin Park

What really amazed where the number of dragonflies and also the variety of them. I never knew there were so many different species! Just amazing. I saw so many at this little pond; from big, like this one, to tiny blue ones. Red, green, grey, you name it, it all seemed to be there.
In the bookstore at the visitor centre I saw a whole book about the dragonflies and the different species. I took a glance at it, but gave up immidiately. Hahaha, there are just too many varieties to make sense out of them and to see what's what.

Directions: Mizzie Lake Trail at 15.4 kilometers from the West Gate of Algonquin Park.
