Civic Archeological Museum, Bologna: 10 reviews and 16 photos

There are plenty of Museums and exhibitions to visit in Bologna, choose accordint to your taste and interests. For a personal motives, when I have time in Bologna I'm visiting museum of Archeology, it's in the center. There you will find Egyptian, Roman and Etruscan collections, also the original (?) of Neptun sculpture. You'll be even lucky enough to say hello to some scelets of etruscians and to "princess no. 18" (where is the prince number 18, I wonder =)). Seriously, there are quite interesting pieces if you are interested in ancient cultures. Oh, and don't forget to use free toilet for some refreshment ;). Entrance to a museum full 4 euro, 2 (to students, etc) 2 euro. Exhibition on the first floor is usually for free.

On the first floor there's usually some exhibition going on. Last time there was quite fun one "a misura di bambino" 100 anni di mobili per l'infanzia. Child toys, seats, furniture, few rooms it was like going trought childhood with some memories and fairy tales. When we were signing in the guest book I was happy to see that before us there were tourists from New Zeland. GEnerally to see what exhibitions are going on in Bologna take a booklet at the tourist office (piazza maggiore).
