Tuol Sleng Museum, Phnom Penh: 90 reviews and 183 photos

  On the floors of S-21

The cells in Tuol Sleng are kept as the Vietnamese found them. In one building, the rooms are bricked off into cells, 1.7 meters by 1 meter. Two people shared each cell, shackled to the wall and floor.

In another building, the rooms were kept empty, holding row upon row of prisoners. The artifacts of torture found in one of these rooms are shown in this picture. The prisoners were not given any access to sanitary conditions, forced to lie in filth amid the tropical heat.
