These twin palaces frame the Pest end of the Elizabeth Bridge and extend as far as Ferenciek tere, named after Koburg Klotild Maria, who had them built. They house up-market shops and prime offices. There is a showroom of Budapest Gallery in the building on the southern side of the street. On the northern side is the Paris Arcade, with the quaint Moorish-Byzantine mood. Between the two palaces, there is a fine view of the Elizabeth Bridge and the waterfall below St. Gellert's monument, both illuminated at night.
