Japan have very good and complicated train network, covering most of the places. From Narita airport, you can take either the Keisei line or JR to Tokyo.
I was totally blur when I first saw this route map. I don't know how to read it, where to transfer and how to buy tickets! Well... it become easy for me on the 3rd day onwards, now I can tell where to transfer for a fast train to Shinjuku! (^0^)
