Favorite thing: try out the fabulous, sumptuous food! There's such an incredible range, from cheap hawker stalls to fine dining, from chilli crabs to oven baked pizzas, from Chinese, Thai to Greek ....

If you are nuts about seafood, you gotta try the giant chilli crabs or ?humongous? black pepper crabs .... there's a cluster of seafood restaurants at East Coast that will cook any type of seafood at any style! (Check out Katalina's page for fabulous suggestion on this!)

Do you know that there are a thousand and one ways to cook a chicken? Well, the all time favourite of many locals is chicken rice. Be it steamed plain, roasted, or dark soya-sauce chicken, it must melt in your mouth and never taste stringly or tough. It is served with a plate of rice cooked in chicken broth and garnished with some cucumber and parsley with a dash of sesame oil! That?s not all ? it only costs $2 to $3! (Read on for details on where to find this gastronomic delight!)
